| The Witte Museum’s Strategic Plan takes advantage of several converging needs in San Antonio and South Texas, including the need for public access to the dramatic History of South Texas, the complicated story of Water, and the need to expose young people to Scientific Principles. |
| Moreover, the current focus on the San Antonio River, Brackenridge Park – including the Zoo, Botanical Gardens and Japanese Gardens – has galvanized the community to build an even greater urban park for the new century. |
