Repair of a retaining wall on the banks of rhe San Antonio River, across from the H-E-B Science Treehouse, will add to the beauty of the view from the Witte backyard. The City Parks Department has crews building a barrier to keep water from the wall while repairs are made.

The water level of the river is kept low and water is continuously pumped out of the skirted area while workers begin repair of the wall.
A view from downriver.
The view from behind the H-E-B Science Treehouse on Tuleta Street in Brackenridge Park shows the low lever of the river and the construction on both banks.
