River Retaining Wall

Progress on the H-E-B Science Treehouse

A sparkling new look, from the Quillin group entrance to the Rooftop pipes.

Fabulous wall graphics and a new spin on an old favorite in Air Power on the first floor.

Pull yourself up to the Simple Machines area of the first floor.

Graphics and colors make all the learning stations fun.

In Energy Underground, you can put on the outfit and become a lineman.

Progress on the SkyCycle

A crane lifts the beams from a flatbed while Dennis Bartz, project director, checks the fit of the SkyCycle.

It takes a half dozen men and two forklifts to bolt the beams in place and mount the staging platform.

Progress on the VIPIR 5 Weather Center

Carpenter Luke Ulrich mounts monitors while KENS 5 Art Director Kyle Contreras inspects the graphics.

Along with Witte Exhibits Director John Edmondson, Kyle checks for precise measurements.

From the "On the Air" sign to the giant Doppler 5 graphic, the VIPIR 5 Weather Center
takes on the look of a real weather tracking station.
