Birthday Parties

Make your child's birthday extra special.

Have a one-of-a-kind party experience at the Witte Museum. It's an educational, fun and extraordinary venue for a birthday celebration and one that every child will remember for years to come! Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays. To verify availability of a specific date or for more information, please call 357.1896. Party Times

Saturday: 10 am - Noon and 2 pm - 4 pm
Sunday: 1 pm - 3 pm

You may arrive for set up 1/2 hour before the scheduled party time and cleanup should be finished 1/2 hour after.

Rates

• $150 for Witte Members for up to 10 children, $5 for each additional child. This fee includes the children attending and both of their parents. To receive your Witte Membership discount you must bring your membership card the day of the party.
• $175 for non-members for up to 10 children, $5 for each additional child. This fee includes the children attending and both of their parents.
• Grandparents, aunts, uncles, people attending without a child, pay museum entrance fee: $7.00 for adults; $6.00 for seniors over 65.
• $50 nonrefundable deposit is required at the time the party reservation is made to secure party space. The balance is due the day of your party. The Museum accepts cash, checks and credit cards.

Birthday Party Guidelines

• Witte staff must be notified of all vendors participating in the party, including any deliveries, clowns, etc.
• Pinatas, aerosol silly string, cascarones, confetti, etc. are not permitted on museum grounds.
• Proper adult supervision is required with the party group at all times.
• All parties and dates are subject to availability.
• Entrance into Special Exhibits is not included.

Parties are subject to availability. The party will not be considered confirmed until the Witte Event Rental Staff confirms date availability, receipt of required information and a $50 non-refundable deposit.

H-E-B Science Treehouse After Hours Birthday Party Your party will include: exclusive use of the H-E-B Science Treehouse for up to 2 hours. access to Treehouse exhibits the KENS VIPER-5 Weather Center. Party times: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday 5:30-7:30pm Rates: $350.00 for up to 20 children including one or both of their parents/chaperones; $12.50 for each additional child. $300.00 for Witte Museum Members for up to 20 children including one or both of their parents/chaperones $15.00 per guest attending without a child. $50.00 to staff the H-E-Buddy SkyCycle Parties are subject to availability. The party will not be considered confirmed until the Witte Event Rental Staff confirms date availability, receipt of required information and a $100 non-refundable deposit.
