Spring Break Adventure Camp Day-long Dinosaur Adventures for children in grades 1-2 and 3-5.
Monday: Deep Time Explore the geologic history of the ancient world, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Create your own timeline using trace fossils. Tuesday: Dino or Dino Not? Examine different types of ancient creatures and discover how to use the scientific definition of what makes a dinosaur to determine if it fits the description.
Discover how paleontology works in the field by locating tracks and developing a likely scenario of what might have happened at that spot. Thursday: Forever Fossils Create your own fossils from teeth or claws and discover how dinosaurs use those defenses. Friday: Dino-mite Discoveries Discover new dinosaur data to determine if dinosaurs communicate, what they sounded like and what evidence we have of dinosaurs with feathers.
For more information and to make reservations call 210.357.1910. Cost per week is $180 for members and $230 for non-members; cost per day is $45 for members and $55 for non-members. Children may be dropped off at 8:30 a.m. and picked up by 5:30 p.m.
