Survive and Thrive
Wednesday - Friday • Maximum 30 students 

Why do specific animals survive on an island only, but not on the mainland?  The students will explore variation in animal adaptations from Texas and Galapagos Islands.  Students will sort the species to understand how mutations appear in the classification system.

Animals in Action

Students examine live animals to discover how animals move, protect themselves, and use special adaptations to stay alive.

Eco-Challenge

Students explore predator/prey relationships, animal competition and co-existence using live animals as they link up food chains, weave food webs and examine ecosystems.
