Spring 2012 Adventure Club at the Witte Museum
Birds, Beetles and other Beasties...it’s all about nature.
Monday, March 12 – Friday, March 16
Day-long adventure at the museum for children in grades 1-2 and 3-5. 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (Children may be dropped off at 8:30 a.m. and picked up by 5:30 p.m.)
Have you heard about The Beagle? Who traveled on that ship and where did it go? Pack your bags, dress for outdoor fun, and come to the Witte for a week-long or day-long adventure with the Beagle; Darwin, the traveler and discover what he found? It’s all about nature...birds, beetles, plants tortoises and much, much more! Each day will be filled with activities, guest expert presentations and visits to the exhibition. Monday, March 12 Sail with Darwin on the Beagle
Tuesday, March 13 Discover nature, it is everywhere!
Wednesday, March 14 Investigate Darwin’s finds
Thursday, March 15 Explore the World of Birds
Friday, March 16 Examine…so many insects
Cost is $180 per week for museum members and $230 per week for non-members. $45 per day for museum members and $55 per day for non-members.
All reservations must be made two weeks in advance of program date. Full payment is due at time of reservation.
