T-Rex and two more life-size dinosaurs will tower over visitors as Dinosaurs Unearthed showcases compelling and scientifically accurate animatronic dinosaurs, skeletons and fossils. The latest scientific evidence points to dinosaurs sharing more characteristics with modern day birds than with modern reptiles. Scientists now believe that dinosaurs such as the Tyrannosaurus-rex once began their lives with hair-like feathers. Dinosaurs Unearthed represents the latest in cutting-edge, scientifically accurate information about dinosaurs – from their daily lives to their evolution. Authentic sights and sounds of dinosaur growls and roars will fill the exhibition gallery. In addition to three life-size dinosaur skeletons, 20 fossil specimens and interactive activities, Dinosaurs Unearthed boasts 15 articulated, animatronic dinosaurs, moving and roaring as they would have during the Triassic, Cretaceous, and Jurassic Periods.
