Dinosaurs Unearthed ExhibitStep back in time to 65 million years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and discover the most fascinating creatures that ever lived!

  • The world's largest and most advanced animatronic dinosaurs that YOU control.
  • Full skeletons and fossil specimens.
  • First exhibit in the world to feature life-sized feather-covered dinosaur models.

There is a $3 surcharge for this exhibition.

A Night at the Witte: Dinosaurs After Dark
Friday 7 p.m. - Saturday 9 a.m. | $40 per child, $15 per adult
Grab a sleeping bag and get ready for a night of exploration! A Night at the Witte is a great opportunity for campers to discover science after dark and to explore the Dinosaurs Unearthedexhibition. Spend the night at the Witte and become a paleontologist who unearths the story of dinosaurs through fossils and footprints. The experience includes a dinosaur presentation from "Dinosaur George" Blasing, multiple hands-on activities and an evening snack and movie. Plus, all campers receive a special Witte Museum patch.   
The fee is $40 per child (suggested age 9 and up) and $15 per adult (18 and up). Call 210.357.1910 to make reservations or for more information.

Dinos and a Movie: The Land that Time Forgot (1974)
Sunday | 2 p.m. | August 15
Join the Witte for a summer film festival! Bring the entire family to sit back, relax and catch a common theme on the big screen-dinosaurs. "Dinosaur George" Blasing will provide a dynamic and informative introduction for each movie. Included with museum admission.

Too bad I don't have kids yet, I love this kinda stuff but I don't think I'll be able to go without kids of my own :(
