Witte Museum Frontyard

The Witte Museum partnered with artist Cakky Brawley's sculpture class at Palo Alto College, which spent the Spring 2010 semester creating found-object sculptures. The students were tasked with sculpting art reflective of an insect to complement the Witte's Backyard Monsters exhibition. The works, chosen through a juried selection, are landing on the Witte Frontyard where visitors can see these larger-than-life creations, including a praying mantis, beetle, spider and more.
