Fashions That Roared |
Labeled as the roaring decade—the 1920s was a time of increasing wealth, fast cars and the sounds of American jazz. Fashions began reflecting these changes with easy fitting dresses and rising hemlines, liberating women to enjoy their new freedoms. Fashions That Roared: Clothing from the 1920s, opening November 18, 2006 at the Witte Museum, is a dazzling collection of pieces that reflect the completely new look of fashion.
