Join the Witte Museum and the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation for the second annual Currents in Texas Archaeology Symposium.

The symposium will feature scholarly sessions exploring the recent Plaza de Armas excavations with Clint McKenzie, Project Archaeologist for the UTSA Center for Archaeological Research, and current archaeological investigations associated with the Wittes construction and expansion along the San Antonio River with Dr. Nesta Anderson, Senior Archaeologist with Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. Artifacts from the Plaza de Armas excavation will be available for viewing at the symposium. Reservations are requested, light refreshments will be served.
