Middle and High School Principals Night
October 27, 5:00-7:30 p.m.
The Witte Museum: Where Nature, Science and Culture Meet has created new grade-specific curriculum that integrates new galleries and specialized hands-on Labs for school programs. We want you, as principals and educational leaders, to experience the change.
The Witte Museum has just finished a once-in-a-century transformation, with 174,000 square feet of change, including a new Naylor Family Dinosaur Gallery, McLean Family Texas Wild Gallery, the Kittie West Nelson People of the Pecos Gallery, which join the beloved H-E-B Body Adventure and the Wild and Vivid Land: Stories of South Texas. All galleries have adjoin interactive Labs that focus on the evidenced-based question: How Do We Know? Students piece together the narratives of the galleries through evidence of artifacts, specimens, and excavations, and STEM methodologies.
We invite you to join the Witte Museum educators, curators and leaders for a special evening celebrating National Principal’s Month. Experience how you and your educators can incorporate exciting, TEKS-aligned, inquiry-based, hands-on curriculum into your educational goals and outcomes.
