Learn the basics of the 3D printing process and how this technology is shaping the future of science. \n10:30 a.m. \nUnder Pressure – Kathleen and Curtis Gunn Gallery\nHow do fish survive the crushing pressure and ice-cold temperatures at the bottom of the ocean? Why do scientists know more about the surface of Mars than what lies deep under the sea? Dive into a demonstration of Deep Sea Darkness and discover the wonders of the world’s largest habitat! \n 11:30 a.m.\n \nAnimal Encounter – Dawson Family Hall \nDid you know the museum is home to several Texas native animals? Find out more about our backyard neighbors during a demonstration of Animal Encounters. Learn about how these animals help support healthy habitats\, and what we can do to help them in return.

DESCRIPTION:Join us at the White Shaman Preserve for a weekend of exploration\, imagination and togetherness at the annual Rock Art Rendezvous.  \nEvery year the Witte hosts this transformational gathering\, which features rare access to irreplaceable rock art sites in the Lower Pecos Canyonlands. Camp out under the big skies of Texas\, marvel at ancient rock art sites and watch the sun set over a Northern Coahuila desert landscape.
