Fiesta Vogue: Outfit of the Day

From couture gowns to eye-catching street styles, Fiesta has left an indelible mark on San Antonio’s fashion scene. Explore the stylish influences behind the royal robes, and learn more about the Fiesta “look” with iconic street styles. Get your outfit of the day ready, strike a pose, and become the next Fiesta Vogue cover model.

The Witte Museum’s annual Fiesta® exhibition showcases Order of the Alamo Coronation Gowns from different decades and invites you to compare how fashion trends at the time influenced their designs. Evening wear from each decade will enhance the couture fashion experience.

Fiesta Street Style

Fiesta fashion is so much more than couture dresses and trains. Everything from flower crowns, flamboyant hats, embroidered Puebla dresses, guayaberas, medals, and sashes are seen during Fiesta. Fiesta Vogue invites you to discover the origins of these colorful and creative looks and how they influence Fiesta street style today. Fiesta events such as NIOSA and Cornyation have influenced Fiesta street style for decades. Even our beloved San Antonio Spurs have gotten into the Fiesta colors throughout the years.
What is your Fiesta style? Be sure to strike a pose in the Fiesta Vogue: Outfit of the Day photo booth and tag it #FiestaOOTD. Then, create your own coronation gown and train in an interactive, digital experience.

Explore how fashion trends across the decades have influenced Fiesta style.
