The Louis A. and Frances B. Wagner Series- Keep it in the Family: Preserving Personal Archival Materials

Do you have an attic full of old photos, handwritten letters or news clippings? Precious items like this are part of your family’s story. How can you ensure their survival for generations to come? Join Ann Hodges, CA, Special Collections Librarian and University Archivist from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and a panel of other state-wide experts to learn the basics of preserving archival materials and how you can apply them to your own documents and photos.  Find inspiration in the original Witte exhibit The Wests of Texas as curator Bruce Shackelford and researcher Katherine Nelson Hall share their knowledge and experience with historical and genealogical research. Bring one or two items that you would like to learn how to preserve and receive advice from the experts. 

Suggested donation for the Wagner Series is $5 for members and students, $10 for adults.
