Science is Empowering
Located on the museum grounds overlooking the San Antonio River, the H-E-B Science Treehouse encompasses 15,000 square-feet and four-floors of hands-on science exhibits for all ages. A two-level little treehouse, crafted by artist Carlos Cortez, also overlooks the river and is connected to the main Treehouse building by elevated walkways.

Plus, outdoor water exhibits which feed directly from the San Antonio River, include an Archimedes screw, diversion gates and water wheels.

The H-E-B Science Treehouse is transforming into the H-E-B Body Adventure, a powerful experience to inspire a balanced life while getting the body up and moving.
Visitors can experience these changes: jump, dodge and dance on the weight-sensory technology of Move It! A Game of Action; reach for new heights on Mt. Witte, a 20-foot climbing wall; or take an exhilarating bicycle ride 15 feet in the air on the H-E-Buddy SkyCycle®.
Now visitors can enjoy the recently planted outdoor vegetable, herbs and medicinal gardens.Plus, track the progress of the Witte’s gardens on the “What’s on the Menu?" board and experience the health benefits of the Tai Chi Spinner and Sitting Rotators. Don’t miss the snack machines offering tasty and healthy snacks.
