Student group rates apply to groups with a minimum of 10 students (Pre-K to 12
th
grade) and 1 adult.
One adult chaperone is required for every 10 students.
There is no group minimum required for special needs groups.
College groups require 10 or more to receive the group rate.
Groups must pay together
on the day of their visit during check-in with their final numbers.
Adult special needs groups receive the student group rate. In addition, we do not require a minimum of 10 to receive the group rate.
For every guest you receive 1 staff member as a free chaperone.
The group rate requires 10 or more paying guests (Adult, Senior, Youth or Child) to qualify.

Tortillas: A San Antonio History
What is nixtamalization and why is it essential to a tortilla? Explore the history of the tortilla de maiz in San Antonio. Get your hands in the masa as guests have the opportunity to create, contemplate and consume the city's most famous flat bread.

How do we know what we know? Working with Witte curators and collections staff, we use primary sources to discover the skills and techniques the Witte uses to tell the story of land, sky and water.
