Join your Witte family for the 17th Annual La Tamalada as we learn a little tamale history, which dates back thousands of years.
Spend your morning getting your hands in masa and making tamales, followed by a box lunch. While the tamales cook, enjoy a demonstration on how to make salsa and explore Spiders: From Fear to Fascination. Communal learning of how to make tamales has been key to keeping this skill alive, so join us as we continue to pass along this tradition.
Each participant will make and take home a dozen tamales and the skills to host their own Tamalada.
