Quillin Society: Explorers Distinguished Speakers Series

5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Quillin Society Members are invited to the Explorers Distinguished Speakers Series featuring world-renowned archaeologist Anna Roosevelt, PhD.

Anna Roosevelt’s groundbreaking work and excavation of the Caverna da Pedra Pintada in Brazil transformed scientific understanding. Her scholarship complements the Witte’s own history of revealing the rock art and lifeways of the people of the Lower Pecos region in North America, including the White Shaman Preserve.

Admission is free with Quillin Membership and an RSVP to JustinMunoz@WitteMuseum.org. Kindly RSVP by October 25, 2022.

More information about becoming a Quillin Society member can be found here.

The inaugural archaeology presentation in honor of Hugh “Sunny” Fitzsimons and his love of rock art is sponsored by the William Knox Holt Foundation.
