Creating Cordage – Lifeways Lab
How did the People of the Pecos create the items needed for everyday life? Join our Witte educators to discover, through experimental archaeology, how the lechuguilla plant was used to create cordage or rope that the people in the Lower Pecos Canyonlands used for everything from netting to sandals.

Get up close and personal with live animals from Staying Alive: Animal Defenses and learn how these animals outsmart predators in engaging, up-close presentations by expert educators.
