July 10, 2022 - What is an herbarium, and how is it used? Inspired by the exhibition The Power of Poison and featuring selections from the Witte’s own herbarium, this hands-on workshop examines the helpful and harmful properties of different plants. You’ll create your own pressed plant art, as well as a press you can use for future art! What will you create?

Stretch, rise, and renew with Sumerlin LL Yoga at the Witte Museum. Yoga session will be a sequence of balancing postures, synching breath, and movement. Bring a friend to relax and recharge for the week.

Learn about exhibitions and programs at the Witte Museum, the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Museum of Art and the DoSeum and earn six hours of continuing professional education credit. Educators provide their own transportation and circulate through all four museums in 90-minute sessions.

The Witte Museum partners with the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District to host a free vaccine clinic on Thursday, August 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Mays Family Center. Come this day to get get vaccinated and you'll receive a coupon for $2 off admission to the Witte Museum.

Inspired by the exhibition The Power of Poison, this hands-on workshop features a chemistry technique called titration that you’ll use detect the amount of vitamin C in different liquids. What will you discover?
