Daily Programs
Experience an engaging 20 minute family demonstration on your next visit . Encounter Gallery Theater "InterActors" who will introduce a little something new about South Texas Heritage, Science or Natural History. A current list of daily demonstrations and schedules are available at the Front Desk upon arrival; no reservations are needed!
Student Programs
The Witte offers three types of student programs focusing on natual history, South Texas heritage and STEM-related science.

Educator Programs

Earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours while gaining information and resources that support your classroom curriculum. Meet scholars, preview exhibits at Free Evenings for Educators, learn helpful hints for field trip planning, and more! Reserve your spot today, spaces fill up quickly!

Public Programs
From Family Days to Sleepovers; from  Book Signings to Adult Lecture Series, the Witte hosts educational programming for all. Check back often as these programs may require reservations and fill up fast!

Adventure Camps
The Museum offers Adventure Camps for Spring Break and Summer for children in grades 1-2 and 3-5, 9am - 5pm.
 These day-long or week-long camps are presented from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
