The museum sent 200 pounds of rocks to a school in El Paso for a program called “Texas Rocks,” for example. “We’re here to serve our community, but we’re also here to serve the state of Texas. So if they can’t get on a bus to come see us, we can beam ourselves,” Holdsworth said.
